In order to participate in the DRIP Plan you will need to open an account with the Fund's DRIP Plan Agent, ComputerShare Trust Company, N. A. after you purchase shares through your broker. The agent can be reached at 800-426-5523. Under the DRIP Plan, each registered shareholder's pro rata share of the dividend is automatically reinvested in additional shares of the Fund unless the shareholder provides specific instructions to receive the dividend in cash.

Most MVC Capital shareholders hold their stock in "Street Name" (i.e. their broker) and do not receive stock certificates.
